Venice
When I arrived in Venice I experienced something I had not felt for a very long time. Since it was my first visit, I had not expected how beautiful this city truly is.
With my mouth open I stared at all the little boats and the impressive architecture of the city. It is really difficult to capture the authenticity and special vibe of Venice in photos. That is exactly why I did not know beforehand how beautiful this city actually is.
The City of Canals
I was also very surprised by how large the city and the surrounding islands are. There are hundreds of canals lined with wonderful cafés and great food. The city is incredibly lively and of course very popular.
The Surrounding Islands
If you take a boat to the nearby islands however, you can also experience quiet moments without many people — especially when you get lost in the small alleyways.
I very much enjoyed my visit to Venice and hope to visit this unique city many more times.
